The Science of Sleep Comfort Cloud Sleeper Sofa Pillow-Top Mattress Pad is patented and designed with extra foam padding incorporated in the surface to prevent the discomfort that is often associated with the steel structural frame of a sofa bed.  This thick mutilayered sleeper sofa pad is constructed of a thick medical-grade foam pad core surrounded by a quilted cover.  Anchor bands hold the sofa pad in place so it does not slip around when the sofa is folded or when the sleeper moves around.

The ordering process was very efficient and arrival was timely.  Guests have complained about the discomfort of our sofa bed.  Even though no one has slept on it yet, the mattress pad looks like it will make a big difference in their comfort.

I honestly can't give a truthful review because we haven't used the Pillow=top mattress pad as of yet. It is for our sofa bed and we haven't had guests overnight that we needed to use the sofabed. Sorry about this. Maybe in a month or so we will be using it....

My sofa bed, although not old, was uncomfortable because you always felt the steel bar support. I put this pillow top mattress pad on the mattress and my guests said the bed was very comfortable, couldn't feel the steel bar.

I like the fact that the pad remains on the bed when putting the sofa back together.

I expected the pad would make a small difference but it made a huge difference. it squeezes down easily when you fold the sofa and it actually makes the sofa more comfortable to sit on.
