The Stamina Duel Action Elite Programmable Elliptical Stepper (also know as the Stamina Elite EMR Elliptical/Stepper) gives you the option of switching between Elliptical and Stepper Modes.  By varying the type of workout, you prevent getting board with a certain exercise and can target different workout goals.

The Stamina Elite Elliptical/Stepper easily switches modes by moving the two adjustment knobs.  The machine is programmed with twelve workout programs and you can add four of your own custom programs.  The multi-function console tracks and displays RPM, MPH, speed, distance, calories burned, metabolism rate, and more.  Intensity level is easily controlled by the console as well.

In Elliptical Mode, you get a workout that is a unique combination of stair climbing, skiing, walking, and cycling. In forward motion, your buttocks, hips, quadriceps, lower abdominal, and thighs are targeted. In reverse motion, your calves hips, lower buttocks, and thighs, and hamstrings are targeted.

The Stepper Mode works the same muscle groups with a vertical motion. For best results,  take large steps without leaning on the handrails. For a more difficult workout, let go of the handrails occcasionally (careful not to lose your balance). This burns up to 20% more calories.

You can quickly and easily switch your machine between Elliptical mode and Stepper mode.
The console keeps you motivated by tracking speed, MPH, fat percentage, RPM, workout time, heart rate, distance, and calories burned. The intensity level may be adjusted anytime during your workout with the tension knob.

The Stamina Extended Stride Elliptical/Stepper gives you a non-impact aerobic workout in both modes tones and firms your thighs, calves, buttocks, hamstring, and quadriceps while improving your cardiovascular condition.  The heart rate monitor will ensure that you work within your target heart rate zone to maximize effectiveness of your workout.
