Magnetic therapy pads are typically used on areas of the body that an orthopedic support is not available for. Platinum magnetic therapy pads use large, 12,800 gauss neodymium magnets and 4,300 gauss ceramic magnets. The addition of the large neodymium magnets creates a stronger magnetic field than the Sport magnetic therapy pads. With an effective penetration depth of 7", they are recommended for higher levels of discomfort. The rectangular shaped magnetic pads can be applied either vertically or horiziontally. When selecting a size, the magnetic pad should be a little larger than the size of the injured area for maximum effectiveness
