It’s never been easier to sculpt and tone your muscles as with the Weider PowerSwitch Speed Weights. These adjustable weights function similarly to the weight stacks you might have used at the gym—to increase or decrease resistance, simply slide the selector pin to the target weight range. A color-coded weight guide makes it easy.

Each versatile PowerSwitch weight can be adjusted from 2.5 to 12.5 pounds (in 2.5-pound increments), offering the versatility of multiple pairs of dumbbells without the bulk. Cushioned grips ensure a comfortable, ergonomic workout for comfort, while a convenient storage tray keeps your weights neatly out of the way when not in use.
A number of muscle groups can be isolated and targeted using these speed weights. Here are just a few of the exercises you can add to your routine to spice things up:
  • Arms: Sit up straight on a chair or bench, with your arms slack at your sides with the wrists facing inward. Lift one Speed Weight up to the shoulder by turning the wrist inward. Then, slowly return to the original position and repeat the movements on the other side.
  • Chest: Lie on your back on an exercise ball or weight bench. Holding the pair of Speed Weights, stretch your arms toward the ceiling and then lower to the starting position. Do three sets of twelve repetitions each.
  • Shoulders: Lean forward at the waist while holding the pair of Speed Weights in your hands, arms parallel. Slowly raise your arms to shoulder level. Do both arms simultaneously or alternate between sides.
  • Back: Stand holding the Speed Weights with your elbows tucked at your sides and your legs shoulder-width apart. Bend slightly at the knees, look straight ahead, and lift the Speed Weights with an over-hand grip to touch the top of your abdomen. Repeat this movement until you reach muscle fatigue.
