The easy to use handheld, battery-operated unit disperses a UV light that provides a proven germicidal killing zone. This is the same type of light that is commonly used by hospitals and food processing plants to sterilize surfaces. To use, hold the NANO UV light scanner between ¼ and 1-½ inches from the surface you wish to scan and press the power button once and the light will come on for 10 seconds. Pass the light slowly across the surface until the entire area is covered, for highly contaminated areas, repeat scanner 2-3 times.
The NANO UV Scanner Sanitizer has been tested and certified to effectively kill the DNA of surface microorganisms, including E-coli, Salmonella, Streptococcus Hemolytic, Eberthella Typhosa, MS2 and H5N1 viruses.
